Key Details About CAT 2022

The full form of CAT is Common Admission Test. CAT 2022 will be conducted for admission to the MBA programme offered by top colleges such as IIMs and B-School. The exam is conducted by one of the IIMs each year on a rotational basis. It is a national-level examination that is conducted once a year. The exam is conducted online mode in the English language only. The exam authorities organize the examination in three shifts i.e. Forenoon Session, Afternoon Session, and Evening Session.

To apply for the examination, candidates must fill out the application form. The application form is released online for interested and eligible candidates. Prior to filling out the application form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria. The application of non-eligible candidates will not be accepted under any circumstances. The application process comprises various stages such as registration, filling out the application form, uploading the required documents, fee payment, and final submission of the application.

A total of 66 questions will be asked in the exam wherein 48 questions will be of objective type and 18 non-objective type questions. Candidates will be awarded 3 marks for each correct answer whereas 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Candidates will be provided 120 minutes time to solve the questions.
